About
American Kerry Hill Sheep Society
Tracy Bloom, owner of the Upperville Flock, founded the American Kerry Hill Sheep Society (AKHSS) with a vision of preserving the breed’s rich heritage while building a strong and thoughtful future for Kerry Hills in the United States.
As President, she devotes much of her time to promoting the breed, supporting breeders, expanding awareness, and helping ensure that Kerry Hill Sheep in America remains true to the qualities that have defined it for generations.
An especially important part of that work is the close relationship Tracy has built with breeders here and in the UK. She works alongside her UK counterparts to share knowledge, strengthen genetic diversity, preserve important bloodlines, and maintain a meaningful connection between the breed’s homeland and its growing American community.
A meeting with His Majesty
Tracy Bloom’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to preserving one of Britain's most treasured heritage breeds. the Kerry Hill. That dedication has led to some truly great moments…including the incredible honor of meeting both His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla during their royal visit to Front Royal, Virginia.
